You have a few options for purchasing OmniFocus. But there are other to-do list apps that are easier to use and offer more. If you fit the somewhat narrow profile of an OmniFocus user, by all means give it a go. It also doesn't support collaboration, and it costs more than similar apps. The app isn't as streamlined as it could be, however, and isn't cross-platform. It lets you see only tasks that meet particular requirements, in line with the GTD method (more on GTD later). OmniFocus, which is still in version 3, is a powerful app with a lot of features for organizing and prioritizing your tasks. If you manage your tasks from Apple devices, follow the Getting Things Done (GTD) method, and never assign tasks to other people, then OmniFocus might appeal to you. How you manage your tasks greatly affects which to-do app is best for you. Best Hosted Endpoint Protection and Security Software.Omnifocus is a powerful task management service that is designed and optimized for Macs and iOS devices. The software brings a lot of benefits to its users as far as task and project management is concerned. For one, the solution provides managers and team members a variety of ways on how they view their progress with the Perspectives function. This feature can be configured so that you can take a look at different aspects of your projects individually and in full detail, such as planning, schedules, project progress, and more. With Omnifocus, breaking down projects to more manageable components is an easy task. You can opt to perform your projects in a Sequential manner (i.e. You can’t perform task 1 if you haven’t accomplished task 2) or do it in a Parallel approach (you can perform tasks without following a particular order). You can also choose to organize your tasks in a more conventional to-do list patter. Omnifocus automatically syncs across all your Mac and iOS devices. That means you updates and changes you entered in the system while working on your MacBook will automatically appear on your iPhone or iPad. The Mail Drop feature provides you with your own unique email address where you can email or “drop” your tasks. You can also forward your messages from your Gmail inbox to your OmniFocus account. Another effective way to input tasks to OmniFocus is to connect your OmniFocus account to Siri, which you can then configure to send you reminders of pending tasks, schedules, deadlines, etc. This session was recorded using OmniFocus 2 for Mac.
